‘Secret Place: Live In South Africa’ was recorded on February 27, 2016 at the famed MOSAÏEK TEATRO in Fairland, Gauteng, South Africa (a suburb of Johannesburg). The concert incorporated the beauty, power and sounds of South Africa with a prominent sound of worship that has become Mitchell’s signature. The live atmosphere and energy from the South African audience vividly translates on screen and reflects the power of Gospel music and the unifying power of worship.

Fans can now share in Mitchell’s South African experience as the video offers an exclusive behind the scenes look at Mitchell’s live recording and the impact of his inaugural conference “the Call,” which brought together hundreds of worship leaders, artists, musicians and leaders from the United States and Africa for two days of intensive education and impartation.

Highlights on the project include the popular hit song and music video for “Joy,” a brilliant performance from Motown Gospel artist Tasha Cobbs whose undeniable connection to the sound of worship can be heard on “Jesus Reigns,” and a show-stopping appearance by BeBe Winans who joined Mitchell on the remix of his iconic hit “Nobody Greater.”Mitchell’s effectively incorporates of South African and American singers and musicians on “Turning Around – Siyakudumisa” featuring renowned South African Pastor, songwriter and worship artist Reverend Benjamin Dube. That song, which is translated to “there’s none like You,” unified the entire audience in an explosive multi-cultural worship experience.
