The LightHouse Church is Offering A Back to School Prayer and Free Concert on September 2nd!

Mega Pastor Keion Henderson of The LightHouse Church is offering a health and safety prayer ceremony for the children of Houston who are on the verge of returning back to school. The prayer ceremony will be followed by a free worship concert and meet & greet with Gospel star Earnest Pugh.

Keion Henderson of The LightHouse Church is celebrating the launch of the newly acquired worship building in Humble, Texas. The Mega-Pastor will kick off the festivities by the anointing of children who are headed back to school in Houston and Humble.

“The last couple of years have been tragic for students across the surrounding areas. Henderson, who spoke at, and prayed over, an anti-gun event earlier in the year, wants to pray a blessing of health and safety over the children and the school year to come. Following the prayer, Pastor Henderson will provide a free community concert featuring Earnest Pugh.the nation. We’ve seen too many shootings and too many lives lost. I want to offer this special moment as a way of bringing our community together by having God’s Grace and protection set the tone for the upcoming school year,” said Pastor Keion Henderson.

The event will take place at 6:30 pm (with doors opening at 6pm) on September 2nd. This special community event will be the first event in The LightHouse Church’s newly acquired building in Humble, Texas. “It is very appropriate for us to have the honor of blessing students from the area as our first official event. “Our uniqueness as a ministry is that we seek to offer brighter tomorrow’s everyday. Our children may only be 20% of our population, but they are still and always will be 100% of our future” said Henderson.

Children and adults will be treated to a free, family-friendly concert after the prayer has concluded. The guest of honor is the church’s own Earnest Pugh. The notable gospel artist is also The Lighthouse Church’s Pastor of Worship. His latest album, Just Worship, will not be available until this fall. An Extended Play (EP) collection of worship songs, however, will be made available at the event, along with a photo opportunity during a post-event meet and greet session.
