Open Rivers Pictures, the first African American female-lead film and television studio in the state of Georgia has entered into a multi-year distribution agreement with emerging new leader of home entertainment, UHE Distribution. The announcement was made today by CEO Tammy Williams and UHE Co-CEOs, Barret Dungy and Trea Dungy.
Under the agreement, UHE will distribute all Open Rivers Pictures future film and television titles to include Open Rivers Music Group where companion soundtracks will be launched.
“I have been knowing Barret and Trea for several years and have been very impressed with UHE’s thoughtful and thorough approach to the home entertainment space in recent years as well as with the professionalism of their sales force,” said Williams. “They truly understand what it is that we do, and their marketing and distribution proficiency makes them an ideal fit for our product.”

“We are currently in development with multiple scripted series and films and look forward to making other strategic announcements in the near future,” states Williams.
