Blanche McAllister-Dykes is sponsoring The Session: Vol. II, on April 11-12, 2014, at The Brook, in Columbia, SC. The Session: Vol. II is a two-part event, which combines verse and music for a great worship experience, and provides a platform for aspiring Artists, Background Vocalists and Praise & Worship leaders to display their musical gifts.
On Friday, April 11, 2014 at 7pm, the first session, “Unplugged,” will be hosted by Blanche McAllister Dykes, and will feature Gospel artist/musician K J Scriven (Grammy Award winning writer of Tye Tribbett’s “What Can I Do”). Also making an appearance will be South Carolina’s very own Detox.
On Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 10am, the second session, “The Exchange” will take place. This informative rap session, which will feature several industry insiders, is designed to give a behind the scenes look into the workings of the music industry, and help those in attendance better understand what it takes to properly grow their ministry and brand.
