MYRON BUTLER & LEVI CONTINUE TO SET STANDARD, GARNERS TWO STELLAR AWARD NOMINATIONS

Five-time Stellar Award winners and multiple Award nominees Myron Butler & Levi garner 2 additional nominations this year for Group/Duo of the Year and Contemporary Group/Duo of the Year. The double nominations come on the heels of Butler’s recent first-ever NAACP Image Award nomination.

The Grammy® Award winner is being recognized for his work on the 2016 release ON PURPOSE, which debuted at Number 1 on the Billboard Top Gospel Chart in its first week of release and it marked their first Number 1 album.

Myron Butler & Levi are considered the preeminent group in Gospel music. Butler’s prolific works have earned him recognition as one of the genre’s strongest creative forces as a songwriter, worship leader, singer, and producer.

“After over 10 years of releasing music we are grateful and thankful that we continue to be acknowledged by the Stellar Awards,” said Butler.

Myron Butler & Levi celebrated the 10th anniversary of his smash debut single, “Set Me Free,” and Butler released a new book “Born Identity” this past year.  He has plans to continue his renowned SCORE Songwriter’s Conference in March and a future Christmas album is in the works.

The 32nd Annual Stellar Awards will be taped March 25, 2017 in Las Vegas, NV and will be televised nationally later this year on TV One.
