After the overwhelming feedback from the soft release, Omega 7 Productions announce the worldwide release of singer, songwriter, and producer Estee’s single, “As Is” Tuesday, April 15, 2014, it was announced today.

Written and produced by Estee, “As Is,” the lead single off her forthcoming album, ‘Angels & Butterflies,’ is derived from a moment when Estee took a very down to earth look at her life and gave thanks to God for letting her stay here this far.

“This is my own thank you song to God for His unconditional love,” states Estee.  “It is a testament of recognition that in spite of our faults, He still continues to let his grace and mercy keep us from day to day.”

With simple yet powerful lyrics, the song opens with a relatable and encouraging message:

Thank you, Lord, for giving me another chance to testify/Cause there may be someone out there who needs to know you’re standing by/Bring your problems and your trials, cause it’s time to let them go/No matter what you’ve done, you’re still His child so give Him glory, let Him know/And be thankful.

Named “Female Artist of the Year” by Conversations Magazine, Estee is an accomplished pianist, and an inexhaustible writer, producer and music arranger, whose talents have afforded her to share platforms and work with some of the best in the business including Karen Clark-Sheard, Shirley Murdock, Dottie Peoples, Kelly Price, and The O’Jays to name a few.

Often compared to Kim Burrell, India Arie and Cece Winans, she’s had the honor of being the first female pianist and accompanist for the Grammy®-nominated Central State University Choir.  She has also been awarded Central State University’s prestigious “Most Outstanding First Alto Award” and “The Most Outstanding Performance In The Music Department Award”.

“As Is,” as with her past creations, illustrate why some of the finest in the business take their hats off to Estee.  Chaka Khan states, “Estee’s voice is beautiful and inspired.”  Terry Troutman of Zapp states, “Estee is extremely talented and all of her vocals are top flight!”  Samuel Harrison of Urban Rhythm and News exclaims, “In a world of established artist it is refreshing to hear a voice that the world needs to hear…and that voice is Estee!”
