Urban gospel’s leading newcomers Livre’ have stormed this week’s Billboard’s Top Gospel Singles Chart with their newest single “I Will Be Alright”.
Skyrocketing to #19, the flavorsome, contemporary track acts as the first offering from their long-awaited debut album due fall 2013. Steadily building buzz for the sixsome’s forthcoming set since its single’s spring release, the uplifting tune has been greeted with favorable reviews from both critics and listeners alike.
The news comes as the talented sextet is set to make their network television debut aboard the newest episode of VH1’s hit reality series Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta.
Set to air tonight Monday, June 24th at 8/7c, Livre’s visit to the VH1 ratings winner will be the latest report of good news to come its way as it has consistently boasted millions of weekly viewers since its season 2 debut in April.
Livre’ (pronounced LIV-RAY) is a dynamic contemporary gospel group of New York City based vocalists. Comprised of Ajanee Hambrick, Ariel Malloy; Cree Rey, Malik Spence, Kenneth Williams, and Richard Tolbert, the gospel composite – founded by music industry veteran Jeff Robinson – will see their self-titled debut project slated to be released fall 2013 via Glory 2 Glory Records/MBK Entertainment.
