The new Nashville based indie music label G.Favored Entertainment Group, LLC continues to develop its roster of upcoming inspirational talent. The label announces the newest addition and official signing of International Gospel artist K-ANTHONY, who is a native of Jamaica.
“I am extremely delighted to have signed to G.Favored Entertainment Group. It has been an extreme privilege meeting Glyne Griffith, President & CEO,” says K-Anthony. “Glyne recognized and truly believes in my craft and talent and considered my project worthy to be invested in. Getting a distribution deal is a dream come true for me.”
“My desire is that this partnership catapults me into the Contemporary Gospel Music Industry so that my music can be accessible worldwide,” K-Anthony continues. “I have worked extremely hard on this project, and my aspiration is to obtain the best results in terms of marketing and sales, along with bringing hope to the world through my music, and to point my audience to the Savior.”
K-Anthony’s life is music and his message has resonated with audiences across the globe. He has performed in multiple countries and on television programs CTV Morning Live and The Morning Show on Global TV in Canada. He released his introductory album TOMORROW in 2015. He is now set to release his all new BILLBOARD album in early 2017 via G.Favored Entertainment Group and distribution partner Dream Label Group / Capitol Christian Distribution.
“G.Favored Entertainment Group is thrilled to welcome K-Anthony to the family,” says Griffith. “We believe that K-Anthony will impact the industry in a tremendous way with his fresh, prolific fusion of genres that we are calling Inspirational Pop/Reggae/Soul.”
The new single from the BILLBOARD album is “I’m Alive” which is a song about a choice to be and to think positive no matter what current situations may occur. “I’m Alive” is available on iTunes and has a companion lyric video on Youtube.
“The greatest gift is life itself, given to us each day by our Creator, God,” K-Anthony shares. “And once there is life, there is hope. When you wake in the morning, think of what a precious privilege it is to be Alive – to breathe, to think, to enjoy and to love. Embrace that we each have a purpose and that we are still Alive.”
K-Anthony’s early musical experiences were in the church in which he grew up in Falmouth, Jamaica. Not happy to just sing the old traditional hymns, he spent time rearranging them to make them sound more like the contemporary and youthful music he heard around him. Influenced by the island, you can hear his love of Reggae, R&B and the sounds of the bands he loved as a teen such as Boyz II Men. His strong musicality also reflects his classical training gained through his Bachelor of Music Degree. K-Anthony’s songs are artistically savvy, lyrically optimistic and foundationally crafted by his love for God and hope for the future.
