EPM MUSIC GROUP CELEBRATES TWO TOP 20 BILLBOARD CD DEBUTS WITH LATEST MUSICAL PROJECTS

The EPM Music Group is continuing to make big noise with its dynamic roster of up-and-coming gospel artists. The Washington, D.C. -based urban contemporary ensemble Charles Butler & Trinity has debuted at #16 on Billboard magazine’s Gospel Albums chart with its debut CD “Better.” The ten-song set also features the group’s dazzling new radio single “Amazing Worth” (featuring Jeremiah Hicks) that is now ascending gospel radio playlists everywhere and becoming the group’s signature song.

Charles Butler isn’t the only success story at EPM Music Group. The company recently released a digital only project entitled “Praise Breaks” that showcases a variety of spontaneous church dances such as “The Columbus Ohio Bump,” “The Holy Ghost Shout Box” and “The Turn It Around Praise.” That project landed at #18 on Billboard’s Gospel Albums chart. “My intent on releasing the praise break CD was to give musical directors and ministers of music some options to choose from when their services escalate from worship to praise,” says singer Earnest Pugh, Founder of EPM Music Group. “I am grateful to God for the overwhelming support and love that we are getting on social media about the CD. Joshua Rogers, Tasha Cobbs and others have tweeted about it and several calls have come in from my peers in the industry so I am happy to know that my efforts are seen and appreciated.”

The next EPM act to look out for is 29-year old Dover, Delaware native Angel Davis, a preacher’s kid who is spotlighted on a compilation CD “Gospel’s Rising Stars” that will release everywhere on August 19th. The riveting singer cuts through an engaging, upbeat urban-flavored tune entitled “I Made It” that is aggressively moving up the charts and establishing Davis’ name. For more information on EPM Music Group artists, visit www.epmmusicgroup.com.
