A&R101 Live: Tracy Williamson – “Celebrating Radio Promoters”

  • This week I want to celebrate the Radio Promoters who work hard at getting airplay for artists! They are very important.
  • Artists, while doing a radio tour, work with your radio promoter & make the most out of your visit in a market/city. Be proactive!
  • Yes, the radio promoter will inform you of your radio chart position, but do your research & invest in a @billboard mag subscription.
  • Remember, it takes time to gain Significant airplay. Yes, even artists with Successful radio history, still need radio promotions.
  • When creating your music to be heard on radio, think of who you may be impacting & the possibility of that song outliving you.
